Cookie policy
Last updated: 11 September 2026. This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on this website, operated by The Fleet Lab Ltd.
Our approach
Cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work and stay secure are always on. Everything else, which means the cookies that measure how our advertising performs, is off until you accept it in the banner shown on your first visit. If you decline, nothing is set and no part of the site stops working.
Always on: strictly necessary
- Spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile). When enabled on our forms, Cloudflare may set a strictly-necessary cookie to tell humans from bots. This protects the forms from abuse.
- Local storage on your device. We store a small flag in your browser to remember your cookie choice, so the banner does not show on every visit. It stays on your device and is not sent to us for tracking.
Always on, without cookies: visitor statistics
We count visits with Plausible Analytics, hosted for us by our web developer, Web Cardiff. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and does not identify you: it tells us which pages are read, which documents are downloaded and how many enquiries the site brings in, as totals.
Only if you accept: measurement and advertising
We use Google Tag Manager to run Google’s measurement and advertising tags. These tell us which adverts and search terms brought visitors to the site, and whether those visits led to an enquiry, so we are not paying to advertise to the wrong people. They are provided by Google, and the data is processed by Google LLC and Google Ireland Limited as described in Google’s cookie policy.
If you accept, we also use Microsoft Clarity, which records how visitors move around our pages (clicks, scrolling and taps) so we can see where the site is confusing. The data is processed by Microsoft as described in the Microsoft privacy statement.
Until you accept, Google’s tags run in a restricted mode (Google Consent Mode) in which they set no cookies, store no advertising identifiers and cannot be used to identify you. If you accept, they may set cookies on your device to recognise your browser across visits and measure advert performance.
Changing your mind
Your choice is stored in your browser. You can change it at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page: choosing Reject withdraws your consent straight away and removes the measurement and advertising cookies already set. You can also block cookies entirely through your browser, though blocking the strictly-necessary ones may stop parts of the site, such as our forms, from working.
